Fruit varieties abound.
Viticulture is part science, part passion. We, fortunately, have an abundance of both. Of course, cultivating and harvesting grapes at higher altitudes can be challenging, but then, so is everything worthwhile. So, why do we do it? Because we love winemaking and pouring our passion into hand-crafting the soulful flavor of our bold Bordeaux varietals.
There are orchards, too. Six acres, in fact, with more than thirteen apple varieties. You’ll also find peaches, nectarines, blueberries, blackberries, pecans, and muscadines.

Acropolis Vineyard
The Greek translation for acropolis is “city at the top” and refers to a natural stronghold constructed on rocky ground with elevation. Our highest elevation block at 1,640 ft, this vineyard name pays homage to the mountain top where our grapes are grown. These vines have a beautiful vista view of the Brushy Mountains and Yadkin Valley and are happy to produce excellent quality fruit.

Prometheus Vineyard
Just as Prometheus, the Titan god of fire and creator of man who shaped man out of mud, this vineyard defies the gods and harnesses the earth’s radiant power to forge premium wine grapes. The northern slope orientation for this block reduces the overall sunlight exposure on the vineyard, helping retain desirable characteristics of acidity and fruity flavors for our Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay wines.

Dionysus Vineyard
The ancient Athenian festival for Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and viticulture, took place in the spring when the leaves reappeared on the grapevines, celebrating the god of the vine and another bountiful harvest season. The wines crafted from this block bring joy and pay homage to Dionysus.
